About Subtle Fields Flowers
Farm grown fresh flowers, events and weekly deliveries
Located at 2547 Palmyra St, New Orleans, LA 70119, Subtle Fields Flowers operates as a flower delivery service serving New Orleans in Louisiana. Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

New Orleans is in Louisiana, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New Orleans follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We used Denise for our wedding. They did the most stunning bouquets and flower arrangements. I appreciated that I could order everything ahead of time without a complicated process. We sent pictures of the color scheme ahead of time and it was lovely to have them personally hand delivered on the day. Thank you Denise!!

Denise is the best. I am lucky enough to have attended their floral arrangement workshop, where Denise generously lent two hours of their evening and provided tons of gorgeous flowers that they grow at their farm in Algiers. They’re vibrant and personable which showed throughout their guided instruction, the flowers, and their final work. I learned so much in those two hours and can’t wait to order arrangements from them and attend more workshops in the future !! —— Just editing my review to say that I’ve since ordered multiple arrangements from Subtle Fields Flowers, and my friends / family have adored Denise’s work each and every time. Thank you, Denise!
